Grand Caravan Steering Problem!

Hi,

2003 Grand Caravan - a couple days ago, suddenly the right turn signal would not auto-turn off when the steering wheel came back to center. A day or so later, it happens on the left. Worse now, my wife describes that "the steering wheel, on a couple occasions when turning, hits a point and sticks. She then forces it a bit and then it "clicks" and the wheels turns normally". I took it for a drive and was not able to reproduce this although the turn signal definitly doesn't work right. they are very stiff to push up or down and do not turn off when wheel comes back. You have to manually turn them off and it is not easy to find the "spot" because it is so stiff. Aslo, the steering seemed a little firm to me in general although it could just be I'm used to my car.

I'm obviously worried with a wife and five kids using this thing all the time. any ideas?

thanks!
