NEED HELP ASAPa few wee

a few weeks ago my brother'n'law and me changed the timing belt on my stealth. and after all that thinking that was the problem it still loose power. for exzample when it starts up somtimes it drops to 100 rpm and idels and u can floor the pedal and it will not rise over 3k. and then some times it will go right to idel but revs very slow and when it is drive u can feel it loosing power at diferent rpm ranges. like when it will actually runs a little right it will have power to 4k then loose that pwoer transfer from 4k to 5k and is fine to red line. its not spark plugs those have been changed and a new clutch has been installed
any ideas

do you have a manual?

what about plug wires? fuel filter? when were those last changed?

does your idle fluctuate all the time, or only sometimes? when at a rest idling? how bout when in between gears?

some more details would be helpful.

Yeah more info is definantly needed. How many miles, when was the last full tuneup? What year is yours and is it a TT, DOHC, or SOHC, sorry but I'm tired and can't seem to remember.

What plugs did you put in, what did you gap them to?
What does it feel like when you lose power? Is there just nothing, or is it an on and off hesitation, or an abrupt jerking, or do the rpms rise, but the speed stays the same? What all is happening?

What else was changed with the timing belt, any pulleys, waterpump, the tensioner? Are you sure you set the timing properly? Have you checked it since?

Have you done any work on the engine or exhaust recently?

its a 92 doch the whole tune up was less than maybe 6000 ago the car only has 112k on it. when u go like said from 4k to 5k there is no power at the motor revs but nothing comes out it.also when started the idel drops to like 100 rpm when ten seconds ago it would run at stock idel. although the fuel filter has been changed teh pump its self has not i found that that might be my problem but i do not know. no exhuast work has been done it is a manual but teh clutch has been changed the same time as the plugs all that was listed was changed timing belt, pulleys, waterpump, the tensioner.

good impression!

You should change the fuel pump just because its easy and a very good thing to do and it will be off your mind... But i don't think that is it unless your car doesn't even start sometime soon... I'd say check all of your intake and see if any vacume hoses are off or twisted or anything...

First few thoughts:

recheck your timing, check your ECU caps, and clean the IAC.
