motor crossreference
Will the 3100 from the FWD family sedans interchange with the 3100 in the 1992 Camaro RS, If not, why? I was thinking the only differences is that the intake pleniums were designed differently so they would look right under the hood of each vehicle and maybe a difference in the dipsticks. But on the other note I've never seen a distributor type FWD 3100so I may have to change the camshaft and intake itself. Please let me know about this, like where I'm wrong, or right.

They won't.
One is a 60 degree motor and the other is a 90 degree motor. Basicly, different motors...same size. Also, moved into the performance sub-forum.
