2001 Ranger Transmission

I have had the transmission jerk when shifting into reverse. It has so far only done it a couple of times but only when the truck has been sitting awhile like while I am at work or overnight at home has not done it after it has warmed up. Transmission fluid is full. Any ideas? Thanks

Re: 2001 Ranger Transmission

I assume we're talking about an automatic?

Try firmly applying the hand brake, when parking, before shifting into P.
