Exclamation Can anyone identify this?

Hello,

I have a 1995 Cutlass Supreme. This wire hangs down from the bottom of the dash with a large plug attached to it. The link below will show you the picture:

If anyone can tell me what it is and if it should be connected to something, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

Have tried looking at how far that connector would reach and see if the is an open connector within that range?

Re: Can anyone identify this?

I've tried following the wire and can't see where it goes. I also looked in my Haynes manual and can't find anything on it???

Re: Can anyone identify this?

I was @ the wreckers today getting a new e-brake pedal.
To the right of the e-brake there was a computer(i think). Big ass silver box housed in a cheap black case mounted by the steering colum. I had to get the thing out of there to get the e-brake out. When I was taking it out there where to connectors that look exaclty like the one in your pic. One was white(like the pic), the other black, i think.

check there.
hope this helps
