head light switch?

im having an issue with my lights. sometimes i cant get my dash light to come on and other times i cant get my parking lights on. now last night my lights were turning on and off by themselves, and i was getting a wierd buzzing noise from my light switch onthe dash. should i just replace the switch or is that not my problem.

Re: head light switch?

Ford has a major problem with headlight switch harnesses melting. I would pull the switch out and check the connector for any signs of melting.

I agree with reekor on this. We have had many of these melt.

Re: head light switch?

As Kim stated, replace the melted connector and switch. Ford usually keeps plenty in stock.
