KA24E in Stanza

well im sure most eveyrone knows that the Stanza had the KA in it but i was wondering...if there are any major differences in the stanza KA24E and the 240 KA24E. because my friend has one sittin in his garage and it doesnt run, so i was thinking about asking him if i could have it becuase all it does it take up space, take it apart and get myself familiarized with the good old KA. concidering im only 16 my parents dont want to me take it in the basement so look at it and all because of hazrads..so the question is are there any major differnces in the 2 motors and what could i put in my basement to make it a safe working enviorment?
thanks for the help

Re: KA24E in Stanza

drain all the oil, coolant, remove the fuel rail and injectors, and youll be safe. just put lots of garbage bags or plastic sheets down(the kind you use for painting) and lots of air fresheners, and youll be good. oh and its easier if you buy an engine stand. very worth the price if you ever plan on working on a motor outside the car more than once in your life.
