Re: My Setup

i think a lot of people on here would say that you could have done better, and i may agree. i think one thing that most people seem to forget when it comes to car audio, or audio in general is "if it sounds good to you then that's all that matters".

I wouldn't steal it either. You got sony in there the name alone i'm assuming is why you got the amp for free
Otherwise congrats. It sounds good to your ears and you didn't have to spend a ton of money and that's what counts no matter what me or anyone else says.

Re: My Setup

I went with a complete Pioneer System in my car. Pioneer DEH GM head Unit, 2 - 4way 6 1/2 pioneer speakers up front , 2 - 4way 6x9 pioneer speakers in the back seat and 2 Pioneer 12's in the trunk driven by a Pioneer 800 watt AMP. W/ a 6 cd Pioneer changer. It sounds good to me as well and would surely not be the way many people would go. The thread starter is just sharing the system he built on a budget to me not claiming it to be the end all. I know nightcrawler from the camaro forum and he was never a problem starter. So I think everyone needs to take what was said in context. I am ofcourse looking at this from a third party view but this thread wasn't started with the intent of bragging or busting on you guys? and as was mentioned he likes it. So why bust his balls?. Just a third party observation though

Re: My Setup

Sounds like a good starter system for 500bucks. As long as your happy with it, who gives a damn what anyone else thinks.

Re: My Setup

Seriously STFU, you asked what we think. And I fuckin told you. What more do you want? You didnt say, "reply only if you have something good to say", you said, "just want to know what you guys think", well I told you. I dont even have a job, an really never had one, I don't even make any money in mixed martial arts. Yet I have a system that pwns, its all about how much dedication you have. That's besides the point, you look plain stupid for asking an opinion an then getting mad when you get one....seriously dude, think about it.

Re: My Setup

You both need to chill out with the flamming. If one can't make constructive criticism without resorting to name calling and flaming and telling other to STFU, then keep your comments to yourself.

Remember what the User Guidelines states..
"Attack the message, not the messenger. Criticize ideas, not the person. Don't attack others. Personal attacks and flaming on others will not be tolerated."

Please adhere to the rules.
