Re: 2000 Cherokee Crank Sensor?????

Did my Cherokee sport. It costs about 80-100-from the dealer. Its located just about 11-12 oclock on the tranny bellhousing. You'll see a a wire going in where its at. The disconnect on mine was on the pass side of the tranny itself. Make sure all your connections are free from green crap-caontact cleaner-toothbrush-and when putting back together us dielectric grease in the plug in to keep out moisture. I've posted about this and others have also. Use the search--you'll need some long extensions. I'm pretty sure just on top of this page are some tips. Hit my name and posts since alot of them have to do with this--Good Luck --Chris

Have a read. Although it's a GC, location/process are the same.
