Does anyone here use pearl powder?

The plain gloss colors get boring after a while. Does anyone use pearl powder mixed with their colors during painting?

I'd use it if I could find that stuff around here. I tried spraying my truck with a silver undercoat then a gloss blue final coat and it didn't exactly make a difference

Testors makes a Gloss Pearl Clearcoat,I know that some people don't like Testors paints but they do an adequate job.
This is my Monogram "Garbage Truck" painted with Testors Orange with a brush then clear coated with Gloss Pearl top coat !

to get candy color look with silver, copper or brass color under coat use transparent colors
This resin '37 Ford sedan delivery is an ongoing project painted gold undercoat and Testors Transparent Red ,there are only 2 coats of red, many more are needed !
Copper or brass undercoat will give a richer tone to the red !

I've used them on a couple of my models with satisfactory results. They are on my website. Click on my homepage link below.
