VW Samba RAT-style

Please forgive me!
It's been a while since I've posted here, but I had a modelling-crisis
Opening a box, looking at it for about 10min., and closing it without even touching or painting one little piece of it

But now I'm back in bussiness(I hope )

This is a Samba pick-up wich my brother completely messed up a few months ago.
Everything went wrong: paintjob, windows, ...
Only one thing to do with it________RAT-style!!

Specifications:
- self-made safari windows
- printed Hoodride decals
- lots of Fujimi garage tools
- white walls on the tires
- Iron cross on the door from some airplane
- paint is grey primer

Re: VW Samba RAT-style

Hi,

great job on a formerly messed up model.

Maybe a thinner antenna could improve the great impression.

( Welcome in club of "modelling-crisis-sickness" )

Re: VW Samba RAT-style

Looks cooool! Nice save.

But, I think there is such a thing as too low. Low rider for this one is great, but I can't seem to look at it without thinking "Ouch- catastrophic suspension failure!!"

Re: VW Samba RAT-style

Always nice to see your Vee-Dubs, came out awesome. The detail is amazing, the flat grey color fits it perfectly. Once question did the ratchet and sockets come with the fujimi garage tools?
