side mirror covers dont fit ....help

So I ordered side mirror covers for my 1997 Bravada...Of course, I got them for a blazer, seeing as how nothing is made for my Olds.
This is the normal thing I do when I order accessories, the only other time Ive had trouble is with a brush guard not fitting.

Are the side mirrors on a blazer and bravada the same? If not, does anyone know what mirror the bravada is interchangeable with?

Those are what they sent me, and how they line up on my mirrors.
In the following link, look at the second section, left hand side, "2005 s-10 p/u #517" those are what they sent me.
The back of the package says: they will fit 95 to current s10 pickups and blazers, sonomas, and jimmys.
So WTF is going on?

The mirrors changed in 99. Those look more suited to fit the new style.

All fit cause all have the same 3 bolt pattern but 98 eariler were weaker design and 99up went to a full style hinge and have metal in the the frame so stronger. Also depends if heated, electric, and auto dimming.

This comes up as a 99 and up OEM mirror.
So looks like Im screwed.
Is there any website to crossreference the stock mirrors on a 97 with other mirrors, so I know which one to get?

Why would it be worth it?
Nothing wrong with my mirrors now.

I just did some searching, came across the benefits.
Thanks for the help, I think I may end up doing that.
Now to find someone parting out a 99+ blazer....

So the new mirrors will bolt right up?
