Strange Problems with ABS in 97 Windstar
I have read through and done everything suggested in past posts. I have replaced the ABS Control Module as well as the complete Control Unit. No lights, no codes, yet when I break, just before I stop (moving less than 10 k), the abs kicks in.
My Mechanic say's he has seen this on other Fords and it corrects itself. He figgures the system is just resetting itself. Anyone have this problem before/Know what it is/ Know's how to fix it?

Re: Strange Problems with ABS in 97 Windstar
my 2000 did this a while back. It turned out to be the rear wheel sensor. Easy fix.
