What pisses me off about this whole Iraeli-Palistinian conflict is that everyone is making a big deal about captured Israeli soldier. No one makes a huge deal when the Palastinian ppl get killed.

Buahahaha...What news network are you talking about? Take the U.N. for example. They codemn Israel, but are silent about the Palestinian's who kidnapped and murdered the Israeli soldier. I say give those muslims hell Israel.

While I won't contend that Israel is without faults, at least they fight in a military fashion, instead of rocketing/suicide bombing/car bombing innocent civilians. Palestine is a nation under corrupt and evil leadership, and I hope they are stopped.

Palistinian is also without an army and advanced weapons. Suicide bombings and killing civilians is wrong but to understand them is to walk a million miles in there shoes before anyone here can judge or can say anything about how they feel and what they're goin through.

Unlike Israel, Palestine is not supported and does not get weaponry from the US, or other Western powers.
You have to fight with what you have.


But I agree that Israel seems to be getting most, if not all of the sympathy.
I suppose it is understandable due to current events and tensions between the West and the Middle East. People tend to generalize, and it is slowly turning into: West vs. ALL Muslim Middle-Eastern culture.

^First...lets all try to remember why Israel exists in the first place and initially recieved U.S. and European support.

And truth be told, if the governments of Lebanon and Syria and Palestine are going to allow militants and militant leaders free reign to recruit, train and spread their violent rhetoric because their political leaders are unwilling to sacrifice their power bases, then Israel has every right to respond against these governments when said militants BLATANTLY provoke them. Granted, the response is very harsh, but how long do you let someone poke you in the eye repeatedly before you simply punch them in the face? One could argue that these poor countries' governments lack the resources to control radical Islamists. I'd argue it's not anyone's fault but their own. Lebanon used to be an extremely wealthy, beautiful, prosperous vacation destination under the French. Syria has plenty of oil. Palestine could be as fertile and productive a country as Israel. You just have to STOP FIGHTING AND PRIORITIZE. How about this: stop wasting money on militarization, stop funding terrorist operations, stop throwing rocks at tanks, firing homemade rockets at civilians, tunneling under borders, kidnapping soldiers, bombing restaurants and hotels, stop turning a blind eye, go to fucking work and to school to help build and strengthen your economy. You want me to feel terrible for Palestinians? They had a government that was advancing the peace process, siezed land was returned to them, they were recieving massive aid and international recognition, Israel was playing calm, things were ok....then they blew it. THEY elected the Hamas leaders. They had the option to succeed and the freedom to choose and better their lives and their country. They chose wrong. Now they get exactly what they voted for...just like we did with this lunatic George W. They Israelis, historically, have been no saints...but I can't feel sympathy for the Palestinians in this case. Sometimes the minority pays for the decisions of the majority. Unfortunate, but that's the way it is. I can relate.

We can spend the next few lifetimes pointing fingers that its the other guys fault, but that will leave us right where we are today. Lets face it, the Israeli armed forces dwarf those around them and its not changing anytime soon. The Palestinians (via the terrorists they support among them) have no chance in that fight so they need to stop agitating the Israelis to the point that Israel whips out the tanks.

Once that is done, more light can be shed on the plight of the people without all the religious baggage that’s tossed around by those keeping up the fight. With a light on that plight, things can be done to address their condition. But, as long as Israel is attacked and fights back with overwhelming force, their plight will largely go unnoticed or at least unaddressed.

Release the soldiers. Pull back the army. Route out the militants. Pull out of Gaza. Shout down & shoot down the nut cases calling for the destruction of Israel. Until then, this shits going to continue.

Ok first of all.. you're still wrong. I still dont see how its Muslims vs Jews here. All I get from you're post is trying to justify Israelis aggression. SO its ok that Israelis makes threats and get away with it? I know for DAMN SURE that when Saddam made threats the whole world went crazy. Why is it that Israeli gov't can get away with things while Castro/Saddam/Chavez/N.Korean President (forgot the name) etc...get there balls punched when they say somethings?
