I have a 1990 accord ...how much Freon R12 does the system require.....

A service manual for your car will tell you for sure. and you need a special license to buy any r-12 (i have one) you also need a machine that uts the r12 into the system by weight so theres no guess work. It also may be cheaper to convert the system to r134a and is a lot easier to install (i do it in my driveway with no special tools)

yes, r12 depleats the ozone....which is why all the new cars are 134a.
