Rear hub removal problem

The passenger's side rear hub went bad in my 2001 SE and I'm trying to remove it with no success. I removed the four bolts but it won't come off. I rented a slide hammer with flange from Autozone but it still won't come off. Is there something else that needs to be removed or do I need to keep hammering on it? I can't believe it's this difficult to remove. Any suggestions?

Re: Rear hub removal problem

Well, I finally got it off! It must have been rusted on. Unfortunately, the parking brake assembly came off with it. I had to unbolt the parking brake cable and tap on the backing plate to free the hub. Hopefully, the other side doesn't go bad.
