2001 Taurus EGR problems

I started with a P0401 and P0402 codes. Replaced the EGR valve, tube, and pressure feedback sensor. Now I have "P1402 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Metering Orifice Restricted". The orfice is in the tube so it should be fine. Maybe I need to have the codes erased? I am at my wits end with this EGR system. Any ideas?

It may be the DFPE sensor. There's a joke about these cars - they need a special Check DFPE light along with check engine.

Re: 2001 Taurus EGR problems

Isn't that the feedback sensor that I just replaced? It was the sensor with two rubber hoses coming off it going to the egr tube, one marked ref and one marked hi. Its the only thing mounted to the egr tube other than the valve. Maybe I replaced the wrong thing.
