Just had to replace the ignition switch because it wouldnt let the key turn. And of course the car wouldnt start.Worked fine for about 45 days. Now the new switch wont turn far enough to start the car.Can start it with a screw driver so know the problems is here. What can be causing these switches to go bad?
Actually have the original back in after greasing it up good and its letting the car start and letting the key turn but dont know for how long.....Any ideas whats going on and why? Thanks for your ideas in advance.... |

Re: Another Bad Ignition Switch???
Whats the year ?
Sure the new one was the correct one and installed correctly? I find it hard to believe under normal conditions a new lock cylinder only lasted 45 days .......
