Need help getting part for new 07 Yukon
I bought a new 07 Yukon on June 27. Next day I got check engine light "service brakes soon". Dealer says the power brake vacuum booster is the problem. Light comes on several times a day, but goes out when reset button pushed. Dealer says that GM shows NO AVAILABLE PART, none in USA. Why would GM not have even one replacement part in the USA. Would you all have any way to check as to this? Part number is 15276502 - booster. Not a big running problem, just beginning to bug me.

Re: Need help getting part for new 07 Yukon
Make the dealer fix it. If they cant fix that part right away make them work their ass off to either get you a part or make it right with you (i.e. trade for a new one without any problems). Just make this their problem instead of yours. Shit its only a couple of weeks old.

Still nothing. GM tells parts man that they will release 200 replacement parts this week or next. But nothing yet. Must be a redesign of part to be held up this long on delivery. Made in Germany sticker says.
