Steering wheel control wire question
For the 91 to 94 PA's with the 21 radio pin,
The power wire to the steering controls is yellow. The steering wheel control wire that runs to the radio is green. Each button has a different resistance value and that's why just one wire runs all the buttons. Is all this correct? Now on the 95 to 02 PA's, with the 32 pin, (blue plug), Is it still the same? Yellow powering the steering wheel controls, and one green coming from the steering wheel controls to the radio? If I'm wrong what color are the wires to and from, and most important what pin numbers are they so I can test them? And last, The same wire from the steering wheel control that goes into the radio also comes out of the radio and goes into the AC controller right? If all this is somewhat correct can someone identify the correct pin number for the steering wheel controls on both the 21 and 32 pin plugs? Thanks and good luck! |

Re: Steering wheel control wire question
The chart I have of this shows "open" on pins E 5 and 6. Must be the wrong one. This helps. Ok, going to test, Thanks!!
