mesh grille kit

My girlfriend has a 97 maroon gs and wants me to put a mesh grille in the bumper holes to make it look better... does this kit look good and do you think it would be worth it to try(easyness and reliability)?

Re: mesh grille kit

Dude, goto Home Depot and make your own with Gutter Gaurd. I redid mine today, the grill now goes across the whole front (pics later). It cost $1.26 for a piece that's about 3 feet wide and 8 inches tall. You buy 2 and your good to go.

Re: mesh grille kit

This should really be in the appearance section. I personally hate those silver mesh grilles. They look like someone stapled a chicken coop to their bumper. And they're always bent or deformed in some way. If you just have to have a grille I would paint it black. But if your doing it for looks and want it to be silver and shinny I would spend the extra $ on a nice one that's molded to fit your car. Like these.

Re: mesh grille kit

Dont buy that...I got the same thing for my gs 3 years ago and it was not precut or anything...you are better off going to home depot.
