Clio 51 dynamique trouble starting!

I have a 51 reg Dynamique that on the odd occasion will not start , could it be my immobiliser? my fob isnt the most powerful at the moment and sometime only works when your stood next to the car will this affect the immobiliser? sometimes when it doesnt start i lock myself in the car, then unlock it just by pressing the fob and it starts first time i have read on other messages that it could be the starter motor, the list is endless! i have already had problems with warning lights! any info would be helpful. if the red immobiliser light goes out on dash then immobiliser is working fine more likely to be tdc sensor fault

THE IMMOBILISER LIGHT GOES OUT, SO THAT RULES THAT OUT. ALSO ANYONE KNOW THE BEST WAY TO GET A NEW KEY FOR MY CLIO (I DONT HAVE THE MASTER KEY PREVIOUS OWNER LOST IT!)
