Arrow Grand Marquis DIY repair/upgrade instructions...

This site has a couple of good DIY repairs/upgrades for later model Grand Marquis (4.6L equipped models mainly). I have now personally replaced 2 roptured 4.6L intake manifolds (my '97 GM and my Dad's '96 Cougar). The instructions these guys have on manifold replacement would have been helpful.

Thanks to A.F. and this thread I was able to install an intake manifold on my mom's 2000 Grand Marquis today with no problems encountered.
Thanks sheebeehuh and Automotive Forums.

Congratulations! You just saved yourself some big moola and made Mom proud too.

Where did you purchase your replacement manifold?

Re: Grand Marquis DIY repair/upgrade instructions...

So anyway, I go pick mom's car for a Sat. morning wash and gas fill-up. Then I decide to take it out on the edge of town so it can get up to highway speed. That's when it happened, I looked in the mirror and my rolling fog machine was born. I picked the part up at my favorite Federated parts store.
