Hye all;
Every since I got the engine mounts installed (god only knows how long ago it was now), the car rattles and vibrates a lot more. Most of you know this. My hood rattles badly. While sitting in the car, you can see the passenger side of the hood closest to the window just shaking constantly. It's loud. How do I stop it from doing that. I was thinking of taking like some kind of cloth and putting it underneath, but that wouldn't hold for too long. Would dyno-matting the hood (underside) reduce rattle? Any other ideas?

Re: How to stop vibrating
What about the rubber stops at the front of the hood? Have you adjusted those? Are the ones on the sides in place? Dynomat would reduce your rattles too, but I would make sure the stops are adjusted, and the side rubber is still there. If not, get some or put a bead of silicone down under the edges of the hood and make sure the bead is the right height.
\Also make sure all your bolts are tight.
