My head rebuild... Part 1
As some of you know Im going to be rebuilding a head. I think I got most of the parts down for what I'm going to get. Couple questions.
1) I'm getting the head a port job, cams, springs, and titanium retainers. Do I need new lifters and rockers? This is my wish list. Will all of this work together? I'm afraid Im going to spend the money and then have everything fail on me... http://www.mainsitepage.conceptillus...Page/index.htm http://www.mainsitepage.conceptillus...Page/index.htm http://www.mainsitepage.conceptillus...Page/index.htm http://www.mainsitepage.conceptillus...Page/index.htm And a port job. What else do I need for that? Thanks

Re: My head rebuild... Part 1
Rockers shouldn't need changed... The lifters are good too unless you have that machined too and put oversized ones in.
You should look into crower springs and retainers... They might cost less as a package deal for the 420a.

Re: My head rebuild... Part 1
I recommend crower springs. It's what I put in my head. GL getting those springs out. I think I did 2 of them myself. Took about an hour + 3 diff tools that sucked. So I gave in and took it to a machine shop.
