Wiring JDM EL gauges
I have the JDM BB4 EL cluster, with the box thats needed for it to light up. I have the EL Si cluster in my 94, and the plugs from the USDM don't plug directly into the JDM one (only 1 plug fits). Does anyone know which wires i have to cut and connect? I have the plugs with about 2 inches of wire coming from each one. I know they're not gonna line up perfect but i'll figure something out. I can get the gauges to turn on, but they won't pick up a tach signal or speed. PLZ help

Re: Wiring JDM EL gauges
For future reference, its basically wire matching. The wires that were on the JDM cluster were a lil difficult to see but I found a color list for the wires, and then cut the plug off the US harness and connected the JDM plugs to the US dash harness. The SRS light doesn't get hooked up. And I'm pretty sure with a little more convincing from the dremel I can make the JDM cluster sit somewhat flush.

Re: Wiring JDM EL gauges
I made the face piece fit from my H23 gauges and everything sits flush including the black piece that seperates the temp side and the speedometer side, and the black piece at the top. I GOT JDM GAUGES in my car...do u?
