Question locked up 350

I have a friend who ran his truck out of oil. it didnt throw a rod or spin a bearing. is there anyway too break it free?

Pull the spark plugs out and fill the cylinders with Marvel mystery oil or auto trans fluid. Let it sit over night. Then push the truck and pop the clutch out while in gear. If it's an auto you'll need a lot more speed than a manual but I have heard it will still work.

thats what i heard too, but its got and automatic tranny and i didnt think it would go into gear.

I wouldn't hold out any hope for it. If it siezed due to lack of oil, the crank rod and main bearings will be toast. There may also be piston and cylinder wall damage.
