Traany Problem No Code?
I have just aquired a 94 convertable with a 3l and auto transmission it is in limp mode and I am tring to figure out the problem before sending it to a shop since I don't know one that I trust (im north of Toronto) all shops want to do now is rebuild trannys not fix a problem, my son works at the local garage and took it in he said it showed no tranny codes so iwas wondering if anybody had any ideas I have read about some bad wiring issues but figured they should throw a code just looking for a direction here I plan on inspecting all conections tommorrow, I am in the middle of doing a tune up and checking the compression before I start to spend money on this car don't know how accurate my guage is but shows all 6 between 120-135. The car did show some engine codes like to rich to lean but I figure these could be from running in limp mode....BTW even in Limp mode I like this car hope I can work the bugs out

Re: Traany Problem No Code?
If we're gonna give you any ideas as to what could be the problem you will have to elaborate on what's going on a little bit more. How is the tranny acting and what does it do before it goes into limp mode? How was the tranny acting before this happened? How many miles? Just give some background on it.
