I'm in the middle of installing a skunk 2 intake manifold on a B16a and I am having some trouble with the hoses. I because on the stock IM there are two hoses that attach to the top of the manifold, but on the skunk 2 there is only one. I've figured that that is where the PCV hose connects to. I'm not sure where the other hose connects. There is a hose connection that runs into the big coolant line. I hope that description makes sense I wish I had a camera to take a picture of what I was talking about. But if anyone knows a website that shows what I am talking about let me know. I've searched all over and all that I've found has said nothing about this new hose line.

Re: Skunk 2 Intake Mani problems
If they are both vacuum lines then just get a Y splitter to run both off the same vacuum port.

Re: Skunk 2 Intake Mani problems
Well I figured out that the hose no longer has a connection in the same place some kind of purge line that i think sucks out fuel vapor but I dont think that would attach to a hose with coolant running through it

Re: Skunk 2 Intake Mani problems
OK so I've got everything put back together with the skunk IM but there are three things that I have no idea about. There is a bung in the hole for the Intake Air temp sensor but I never had to take one off of the car when I remove the stock IM. Also I don't know where the hose to the Evap selenoid goes and what hooks up to the hose stem branching off the large coolant hose. If anyone has done installed a Skunk 2 Intake Manifold on a 99 Civic Si let me know how you handled this problem!!!!

Re: Skunk 2 Intake Mani problems
The temp sensor should be on the back of your old manifold. The purge line from the canister should be hooked up, but it wont really make any difference if it's not. It just goes to any vacuum port.

Re: Skunk 2 Intake Mani problems
So could I buy a t fitting a use it to connect the PCV and Evap to the same vacuum hose. Is it possible that they made the car with no IAT sensor because I have looked high and low and I can not find the damn thing!

Re: Skunk 2 Intake Mani problems
Yea, if there's only one vacuum port open then just get some extra hose and a Y fitting, they work better than the T's. As for the temp sensor, I think it's actually located on the intake tube on OBD2's, in which case you'd need to find one from an older civic when they mounted on the back of the mani and just use it as a plug.

Re: Skunk 2 Intake Mani problems
Alright Cool then that pretty much solves all the problems accept for the extra hose fitting that stems off of the coolant fitting. Thanks a ton for your help!
