Angry 97 Silverado

I don't use the truck that much, probably twice a month. Today I turned on the air conditioning and it just blew hot air. Last month it worked fine. I looked and it seemed like the compressor never ingaged. I checked the fuses and the 1 -10 amp is ok. Could it be the relay in the fuse box that is labeled A/C/? or is there another common problem.

First check would be for low freon and ac\heater controls.
Does the control panel work good? Blower motor and switching from heat to air ?
To check for low freon you will need a air cond recharge gauge set with low and high gauges like this
http://www.ackits.com/merchant2/merc...uct_Code=66773

Hook up the gauges and jump the compreser to run and give us your low and high reading at idle and at 2000 RPM

Also a good scanner will tell you if the air cond is getting a air cond request from VCM or control panel and sometimes the freon pressure.
