Cadillac Cien

Does anyone have an opinion on Cadillac's newest concept car?

I just saw this on another board and I had to come back here and express similar enthusiasm. That thing is incredible. Its using a 7.5 liter Northstar V12.

I really hope they make it. V12 Caddys are here again.

I Love it!!!!
A 750hp 7.5 liter V12, scissor-style doors, carbon fiber and aluminum chassis, 6 speed F1 style transmission, just amazing. There is a very small chance this could be in limited production in 2 years for Cadillac's centiannial, for about 300 grand.
Do you think it will be at Toronto for the Auto show?? Probably not

I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, NOW!!!

cadillac needed a showcase for their new xv12 and a flashy case to show the ultimate form of art and science styling. The motor is the serious bit. It'll show up in the next seville for sure, but unfortunately, within GM, the corvette is the performance pinnacle. For that and other reasons, I can only cast serious doubt over any hopes of the cien being anything more than a showpiece for cadillac's centennial.

I agree, but I wish it were different. The V12 will also probably be downsized, to maybe a 6L with 450hp or something like that. GM doesn't have the balls (or brains) to put it into production. But with Lutz, maybe something will happen

"In keeping with the brand’s role as a technology flagship for General Motors, the premium V12-powered 2002 Cadillac Cien concept car is a befitting icon to usher in the brand’s 100th anniversary in 2002.

The striking, aerodynamic Cien - Spanish for "100" – holistically illustrates Cadillac’s fusion of design and technology in a modern mid-engine, two-seat supercar."
