Re: Need Advice
Marauders are probably going to be expensive...but extremely awesome if you can find one
![]() I vote old cop car Try to get a sherrifs car or something that wasn't ran the crap out of it. My dad has a crown vic and that thing is built like a tank...plus it gets around 25mpg--not too bad for a full size car.

Re: Need Advice
don't the crown vic's have like a police package with a super charger?
plus with a crown vic you can find one of those cop engines to fit from a junkyard. |

Re: Need Advice
no, the crown vic (nor any other regulary offered cop car) was never available with a supercharger.
The "cop engine" isn't really any different than the regular Crown Vic engine. It's an urban legend that cop cars are faster than the regular versions. The truth is that every engine that is in a cop car could've been ordered in a civilian version.

Re: Need Advice
crown vic/caprice/impala ss are good choices. They're the only vehicles my grandma ever drives nowadays. Cop ones i would thing would be more "upgraded" like it would probably have tougher suspensions/brakes and such for the extra abuse it may have to endure. Being owned by the city means generally they're taken care of. All of these are assumptions though, thinking logically I mean. If i'm wrong then say so, but it's a good pick from what you're looking for. Cadillac is another but may not be as reliable. Same with an Olds Aurora possibly.
