SCC Article on AF.

For those of you who haven't had the opportunity to read what was said about this site in SCC, I have taken the liberty of writing it for you, as I have just got that issue today.

"I'm going to date myself here, I realize; but that still doesn't change the fact that this extremely virtuoso site reminds me of the original CompuServe service to which I've been subscribing for almost 20 years now. Automotive Forums' founder, Igor Sushko, founded this site almost a year ago in November 2000. It's a virtual encyclopedia of comment and commentary about all matters automotive - literally from "Acura" to "Volvo" with scores of marques in between. The resemblance to CompuServe concerns the collection of indexed forums - i.e., strings of messages organized about individual topics that browsers can read and extend with their own two cents' worth. There are even "category forums" devoted to topics such as racing, motorcycles, and the auto biz in general. Each forum is moderated, all are indexed. The entire site is a classy, well-ordered place in automotive cyberspace."

Me too. If only we could get an article in Motor Trend... or Playboy we'd have like 12,000 Members.
