My car has been giving me major trouble in the past few months. The idle is all over the place. It will sometimes run so low that it stalls out. I replaced the O2 sensor, week and a half ago. This made the trouble stop temporarally. Now it is back and worse than before. The ECU flashes Throttle angle (7) when I adjust the idle down, and the problem stops. But when I crank up the idle speed the Check Engine light goes off. If I leave the idle up it has bad problems?
Friends have suggested everything from the idle screw, MAP sensor (no indicator), Throttle Position Sensor, Or a huge vaccum leak. If anyone has any suggestions as to what my problem may be I would greatly appreciate your input. |
