Electrical Problem
Wife reports all idiot lights come on an all gages go crazy . If she shuts off and restarts it, all lights come on, go off and return to normal... This has happened each of last two trips to town.
Where do I start? 2001 Blazer 4wd, auto, 4door.

Re: Electrical Problem
I wonder if this could be the famous (or infamous) ignition switch problem?

Re: Electrical Problem
Check the alternator and battery first - Blazers do that as the voltage drops.

Re: Electrical Problem
Thanks for the input. Vehicles seem so much more complicated than the 57 Chevy and 63 Corvair of my youth... Haven't worked on vehicles in years, time to get back to it. I'll have to go to Auto Zone or Advance and have it checked.
