Angry Problems with rims

Seems like my cutlas ciera, 1989, has problems keeping air in the tires. A tire guy told me this was due to the
rims, being aluminum, can't get a good seal. Anyone else had this problem? If so, what's the fix? What size wheel or bolt pattern is on an 89 Cutlas Ceira anyway? Thanks for the help all..this is my first post.

Tire shops can put something on the rim to stop this. They call it bead sealing.
