Alternator or Battery problems?

the engline cuts out when in 1st gear with no gas

not so often 1st thing when driving but it cant stay in 1st gear without gas or it will cut out, if ive been driving a while it will cut out sooner

I have been quoted over £100 for something to do with the alternators not charging right but this isnt by a proffessional

this problem sounds simular to someone elses on here but no advice was given there and the problem might be slightly different

Re: Alternator or Battery problems?

if the alternator wasnt charging right then it would probably do it in any gear, not just first. as far as knowing what it is, im not really sure. sorry
