0-60 times for EX and LX Accords in your year run between 9.1-10.3 sec.

You couldn't run 6.4 seconds 0-60 if hit from behind by a fast moving dump truck, let alone by a 25 hp increase (which is unlikely, as electric superchargers can only make around 2 psi of boost AT BEST...or roughly enough to be inconsequential.)

Re: Supercharger installed!

Let's think about this...the web site claims that it can move 500 cubic feet per minute (cfm). That's a lot of air for a 12V driven fan.....

For comparison, a 2.2L engine running at 3000 RPM displaces 116 cfm (3000 rpm, 2.2L of air displaced per 2 revs). A typical box fan moves about 2000 cfm on low.....do you really think you're going to move 1/4th the air flow of a box fan with a little fan in the intake? If these things actually worked, why wouldn't the OEMs use them?

I'm betting you haven't actually measured the horsepower increase (or 6.4 second 0-60? come on....), but instead are just trying to get people to buy your product.....

I suspect also that he's got something to gain from his claims...and to his credit I have seen electric superchargers that can move so much air, they will actually "hover" 4 ft off the ground if wired up and turned loose...but they also cost MUCH more, and can only run intermittantly and then only at WOT...and any actual boost produced only offsets the parasitic load on the alternator when it has to suddenly provide 60 amps or more to the thing...the best I've seen can produce (claimed) 2.5 psi to the intake, and the increase (according to their own provided dyno charts) was only noticeable in peak HP, WOT, top of the RPM range, and even then wasn't very impressive (about 4-5 hp, if I remember right)...

Re: Supercharger installed!

If you actually paid money for that POS, I'm truely sorry. Throw it in the trash and count it as a life lesson learned. If after reading the explanation above, you still believe you picked up 25whp, and run sub 7 0-60s, I'm even more sorry.

If you are trying to sell it, quit while you are ahead. I don't like spam.

Better for him to remain blissfully ignorant of the money he's thrown down a rathole....

Besides, more noise means more power, right?.....
