Im sure this will help you out.I hate day runners too.Good luck man.

1996-1999 Pontiac Bonneville You must pull the electrical connection from the DRL resistor. The resistor is found on the driver's front side of the engine bay. First, find the large black box which contains the computer. Next, pull the black box to the left so you can see the horn easier. Once you find the black horn, look to your right you will see a small white box thats bolted to the frame of the car. There will be a electrical connection on the back of the white box snap if off and your done. Once the connector is out of the white box you no longer have drls. The head lights will still turn on so there is no need to worry.
Some recent Chev/GMtrucks, and maybe some others, have a temporary disable. Engine running, push DOME OVERRIDE button 4 time within 6 seconds; and if you did it right, it will beep, and the DRLs will be disabled, until you turn the truck off. Half-assed, but better than nothing.

Do you want to disable DRL's or the Twilight Sentinel? The above posted procedure will disable the DRL's, but not the auto "on" feature at dusk (Twilight Sentinel).

Mark, I have a 93 SSEi in which the twilight sentinel quit working. Any idea where it is located?

Alright, Locate the sun load/ambient light sensor on the dash. It resides under the plastic looking dome. Remove the sensor from socket. Take aluminum foil and place it around the base of the sensor (shorting out the sensor). Re-install the sensor. This basically makes the twilight sentinel think it's day time even at night. You should have manual control of the headlamps after completeing this mod.

Sorry, I'm not really familiar with the earlier Bonnevilles. Is the twilight sentinel control ring in the off position by any chance? I think 92-95's were set up with slightly different features regarding the twilight sentinel & how it operated.
