Re: straight piping

You wont get it to straight.

Not alot of rooom for that.
If it was all straight, it would sound tin-canish.

THats just my
2.5"--3' would be great to replace the stock with, then a good muffler(like the stock one[one in two out]) it would sound better.

Go to http://exhaustsoundclips.com they hav some grand ams that might giv you a better idea of what YOU like.

Re: straight piping

Dont go over 2.5 in, thats just overkill. Then have like a 2.5 single in/dual out muffler welded up. Id probably go with a flowmaster 80 series or a magnaflow muffler.

Re: straight piping

YA the Flowmasters 80 series is a good option, and decent price.
Thats whats on my SE, 2.5" in , 2.5" dual out.
Sounds better than stock!!

Re: straight piping

Kool !
I would think the straight pipe would sound thin, Not the full sound a muffler would give you.

How are you by passing the O2, with a Sim ?
