Cai?

Is it true that if you have ram air your not suposed to get a cold air intake?

There is no reason to get a cai if you have ram air cause the ram air intake is less restrictive than the regular stock one and is more direct so while your not getting air from under the car which is suppose to be cooler and more dense. You are getting a direct supply of air.

Don't they have types of cai FOR ram air cars? I could be wrong, but I could swear that I've seen cai that improve ram air flow (besides lids). I'm probably wrong considering I don't own a ram air car.

i kno of a couple ppl with CAI's on ls1's who have blown up their engines which is why i'm not getting one. plus i think ram air is the way to go with these cars while cai's seem more like cheesy import tuner mods to me. .
