just wonder ing how much would a rochester carb be running for these days cause my dad took one off his GTO back in the 70's in georgia and he could not get rid of it no junk yards wanted it. so when he finished with the navy he just left it sitting in his trailer and left and now hes like i should have kept it caouse he says its worth money now. about how much would u guys think?

Take the long number from the driver's side secondary air horn. What is it? Rochester numbers are decodable... If it's a "Ram Air" carb, it's quite valuable. If it's a '68 335 HP 400, nobody wants it... (for example)

he doesnt have the car anymore he sold it like in 77. it was a rochester carb. he had a 67 GTO

There's a 8 or 9 digit number stamped on the driver's side secondary air horn. Post that number and I can tell you what the carb was original on.

like i said he left it in his trailer and sold his GTO so he doesnt have them anymore. he said he took the rochester hydrojet(or quadrojet) of his car with the high rise manifold and put something else on which im not sure. i was just wondering about the estimate on how much it would be worth these days? he said the rochester carbs were standered back in the 60's
