what the hell is this noise
ok,,since i owned this car,when i first start it for awile it makes like a hmm helicopter swishy noise,,,,what the hell could that be.i always here this when the car is "cold". any ideas

 So its a "hmmm helicopter swishy" noise? I have no fuckin clue what that sounds like, can you give a better description? Wheres it coming from?

lol,sorry guys,,sadly im one of the older dudes on here at 28.and i dont know crap compared to you guys,,well anyway naa thats really what it sounds like haha and its comming from the engine,,weird huh? well ok like a swish swish or a sssss,,i dont know forget it. thanks though

Yeah, sounds like an exhaust leak, rev the engine with the throttle cable and see if you can pinpoint it. I've heard of small exhaust leaks sealing themselves up when the metal expands...if that makes sense?

Hmmm, is it maybe because the fans are on? Thats the only thing I can think of... besides the whistle all the NT guys here seem to have.

My buddies 98 eclipse does the same thing and come to find out it was just the air filter box sucking in a little extra air (Leak).
So check your shit for leaks
