You have 16 posts...and I have never seen you before. Not exactly well known.

What do you mean the lights flash? Like they go on and off, or they dim?

Re: To all the DSM wizards

I havent ever seen you either, nor do I have any fuckin clue what lights you are talking about. Does it only happen under WOT? The warning lights? If so, which one? Headlights? Interior lights? My guess: knock sensor setting off a CEL. What grade gas are you running? If its not 92-93 and especially if you are even slightly modded I would do a compression test and make sure its decent, then switch to 92-93 octane gas.

More info please. If they dim under WOT, check the condition of the belt it may be slipping. IDK what you mean by flash.

Re: To all the DSM wizards

Maybe he means they dim and brighten under acceleration? Mine would do that when the bass would hit with my system. lol

Re: To all the DSM wizards

Different crank pulleys do the same. Dimmer at stop. I got a voltage stabilizer to deal with that. Lucky me.

Re: To all the DSM wizards

Try getting or making a grounding kit, the grounds in your car are 11+ years old and probably don't work as well as they used to. Ebay usually has kits for less than the cost of wire you need.

If they dim under WOT, check the condition of the belt it may be slipping.
I win again! Woot. I doubt I will get to Pittsburgh any time soon though.

With the car running the voltage is typically 14v or so. My EVO will run it up to 15 on a cold morning to recharge the cold battery, and the Dodge CTD would run as high as 16-17 volts depending on the conditions.

And Loeman is on a roll! I think I'm gonna take a vacation...
