i have a chance to buy a daytona year im not sure of i think its an 88, 2.2 turbo and t-tops, the hood needs painted, its needs a turbo, which of the guy has a used one for on it, and the interior needs to br put back in (which he also has). but he needs the wheels and tires back because he borrowed him off his friend. hes asking $1000 for it but i think about 600-700 sounds more reasonable what do u guys think

Re: opinion
If it was a nice, complete car that just needs a turbo, it would probably be worth the $1000. But with the interior out, and especially without wheels and tires, I'd have to pass at that price. Especially since you really can't be sure of what condition the rest of the engine is in. If it turned out it needs a clutch or transmission work, some suspension parts, etc....it really adds up fast.
Is it a Shelby? TI or TII (intercooled)? Good luck, Bill |
