Smooth Bike (in Progress )

Hallo ,

Here an completly different Bike ,mentioned BAGGER .
This type of Bike is to be found frequently in the USA ,and has not only unloaded fenders ,but also in the body trained Suitcases .
As collecting main serves this Bike from ARLEN NESS , who build the Original .
I don`t want to make a exactly copy of the real Bike , howeveer in style .

Now the Model :
As base for this building serves the ROBIN Bike from REVELL in scale 1:12 .

The rearfender in this Kit is cast on ,which is not advanced for my build.
Here to specify with seperated heckfender around the alignment .

The body was cut and the center sektion pulled downwards with tape and glued together .

Since I haven`t decided ,which framework forn i use finally , both frames would be adapted .

Softtail Frame

Hope you enjoy it
Lutz

Re: Smooth Bike

The frontfender of an modell 1937 CORD which reesembled ,gives me the form of the bikefenders in a rough one .

I poured the fenders to the half in a Silicone form ,this range was sufficient off in each case .

Castings of the left and right Fenderhalfs

Re: Smooth Bike

Shaping the Rearfender
I cut the front of the fender to get a nice fit to the body .
After first try ,it was amazing , the fender fits to the body as well as possible .

Re: Smooth Bike

Here is the original frame of REVELL Police Bike ,which I will use now ,
Are not content with the length of the framework and the angle of the downtubes and the steering head .

Here you can see ,how I have stretched thr frame forwards around 0,43"
and the steering head put down ,as well as the steering head increased .

Complete

Re: Smooth Bike

Hi All ,
there are some little probs in progress .....
the fenders aren`t in the right heights to fits with the body ,so I had to fill 0.293" each .
Before

in progress

on top the old masterfender

and after puttiing and sanding the fender and the curvesd line to the body ,to get an smooth surface .

But now --
the next problem ....
I don't know how to finish the frontsection of the body ...
Anyone tipps and hintas for me ???
