DropShop is tech KING!
seriously you guys, dropshop rules! dropped the a6 in the 4 door LX yesterday. it ran...shoot, jer drove it home from where it was towed for the swap. but, it had some funky vaccum leak kinda feeling when you got on it. the ECU was throwing code 10 & 14 (Intake air temperature & Electronic air control). i simply told him the 2 codes and he knew it was 2 sensor plugs mixed up...this is after he put in a 9:30am-11:30pm day. after i heard about his long day i told him...don't worry about it...but he helped anyway.
i just thought i'd let you guys know, in the last 2 years i haven't met anyone more valuable to know in the 4th gen "world" than dropshop. if anyone needs tech support, parts, or an engine....he's the guy to go to!!! thedropshop

yeah, you also should maybe paint it (maybe the paint is good, but it looked bad in the pictures)
What you should do is get a tow kit for the 4dr, and then when there are car shows get a trailer and put the hatch on that, that way you got 2 cars!

That's awesome Ami!
Can't wait to see the 4-door get some TLC. I've got the same problem. Last winter, I bought an 89 Jeep Cherokee as a winter vehicle, and I wasn't gonna do any mods to it, but now, it's got new rims/tires, and if it wasn't for the blown head-gasket on it, I'd be getting it re-tinted, new windshield, and re-spray on the hood... But, then I'm gonna put a 4" lift on it, etc... So much for not modding it. LOL
