turns over no start!!!

my bro has a 04 grand am gt ram air and today i go out to move it so i can get my car out and i go to start his car it will turn over but not start i try like 7 more times nothing then i go in to tell dad then i go back to try it it starts then just now it did same thing i go to tart no start tried like 5 times but nothing, then i pull key out/ turn in off pos. then try starting then car starts. what could be wrong? it is still under warenty sould we have it checked out?

It could be a lot of things, but if the security light is on it could be a bad Passlock. If it's still under warranty, by all means take advantage of that while you can and have it checked out.

This has happened to me a number of times. If the security light is blinking, turn the key on and wait about 10 minutes or until the security light stops blinking. The car will start.
