I've got a problem...

OK I'm fiberglassing kickpanels for my '96 Civic thus I have to move my ECU somewhere else, what I did was lengthen the wires because I thought I could move it in the glovebox... didn't work, so I uncrimped them and soldered them to the original and now the CD player doesn't work ... everything else seems to be working fine. Is there a pin for the CD-on in the ECU or do you think I might've blown a fuse from doing this project? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: I've got a problem...

I'd check your fuses first. Highly unlikely that the radio operates through the ECU.

Yeah you're right Install... the backup fuse (7.5A) that operates the memory was blown. I also went on a honda-tech forum and they said there is no radio operator in the ECU, so you're right on.

Glad it was an easy fix. Good luck with those kick panels.

What you did was officially molest your harness. I hope it doesn't throw any sensors off.
