Recall Alert!!! Fuel Filters....

If you bought a fram fuel filter in the past few months that were made in mexico pull em out and take em back they are recalled for leaking and gas is way to expensive for it to be just leaking out everywhere... im pissed i been smelling fuel for a while now and couldnt figure it out... im doing it tomaro....

thanks for the heads up. is it all fram fuel filters or just ones for our trucks? just wondering because about two weaks after tunning up and filter changes my wifes villager caught fire in the engine compartment(total lose, but luckly she and the kids made it home okay). never really thought of it until now. the filter is in the engine compartment and it could have leaked onto a hot block or head.

yeah. got home from shopping and not 5 min. after getting everyone and everything unloaded and in the house guy next door banged on the front door and said the van was on fire.
well thanks on the recall info. its about time to change mine and tune up. ill stay away from fram for while.

i work at an auto parts store i get alerts from the manufactures we carry im just letting you know... they are only the onemade in mexico recently...
